Account Deletion

Effective October 7, 2026

How to delete your KHEvents account, and what happens to your data when you do. This page does not require an account or a login to read.

1. How to delete your account

tl;drIn the app: Profile → Delete account. On the web: Settings → Profile → Delete account.

In the mobile app, go to Profile and choose Delete account. On the web, go to Settings → Profile and choose Delete account. Either way you confirm with your password; if you signed in with Google or Apple and have no password, you confirm by re-authenticating with that same provider instead. Deletion is immediate — there is no waiting period and no way to undo it once it completes.

2. What is deleted immediately

tl;drYour account, profile, registered devices and bank-transfer receipt images.

Your account, profile details, any devices registered for push notifications, and the images of bank-transfer receipts you uploaded are deleted straight away and cannot be recovered.

3. What we keep, and why

tl;drOrder and transaction records, kept seven years, without your name or contact details.

Cambodian law requires us to be able to account for money that moved through the platform, so order, transaction and tax records are kept for seven years. Deleting your account removes your name, email address and phone number from your orders, registrations and tickets, along with the link to your account. The amounts, dates and tickets remain. Images of bank-transfer receipts you uploaded are deleted along with the payer name you gave; the amount and transaction reference stay with the order as financial records. Tickets you bought for other people keep those people's names, because the tickets are still theirs to use. Support conversations are kept for 24 months; analytics data is aggregated after 14 months. See the Privacy Policy for the full retention schedule.

4. If you organize events

tl;drTransfer or delete your organizer first if you are its only owner.

If you are the sole owner of an organizer, deletion is refused until you transfer ownership to someone else or delete the organizer. This is so an organizer with events and ticket holders is never left with nobody responsible for it. An organizer with more than one owner, or one you do not own, does not block your deletion.

5. If you have open box-office shifts

tl;drContact support to close them first.

A box-office shift you opened is an accounting record tied to an organizer, so an account with one or more open shifts cannot be deleted until support closes them.
