Terms of Service

Effective July 1, 2026

These terms govern your use of KHEvents as an attendee, an organizer, or both. Plain-language summaries sit above each section; the section text is what is legally binding.

1. Who we are and what we do

tl;drWe are a ticketing platform, not the event organizer.

KHEvents Co., Ltd. is registered in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. We provide the technology that lets organizers list events, sell tickets and admit attendees. We are not the organizer, promoter or producer of any event listed on the platform, and we do not control what happens at an event.

2. Your account

tl;drOne account, real details, keep it secure.

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 to hold an account, or 18 to sell paid tickets. We may suspend accounts used for fraud, resale above face value, or abuse of other users.

3. Buying tickets

tl;drYour contract for the event is with the organizer.

When you buy a ticket you enter into a contract with the organizer for admission to their event, and a separate contract with us for the ticketing service. Ticket prices, entry conditions, age restrictions and refund terms are set by the organizer and shown before you pay. Paid ticketing is not enabled during the beta; when it opens, payment will be processed via KHQR through Bakong.

4. Refunds and cancellations

tl;drCancelled means refunded, always.

If an organizer cancels an event, you receive a full refund including our fee, without needing to request it. If an event is postponed, your ticket remains valid for the new date and you may request a refund from the organizer within 14 days of the announcement. For all other refund requests, the organizer’s stated policy applies. We may refund on an organizer’s behalf and recover the amount from their payouts.

5. Selling tickets as an organizer

tl;drYou own your event; you are responsible for it.

You warrant that you have the right to run the event and sell tickets to it, that your listing is accurate, and that you will honour valid tickets. You are responsible for permits, safety, insurance, taxes and compliance with Cambodian law. You must publish a refund policy and honour it. We may remove listings that are fraudulent, unlawful, or materially misrepresented.

6. Fees and payouts

tl;drFree to use during the beta.

KHEvents does not currently charge platform fees; using the service is free during the beta. If fees are introduced, we will announce them at least 30 days in advance and update these terms before they take effect. Payouts, where applicable, are made to your verified Bakong or bank account. We may hold funds where there is an open dispute, suspected fraud, a chargeback risk, or an unverified account.

7. Prohibited use

tl;drNo fraud, no scalping, no scraping.

You may not resell tickets above face value, use bots to acquire tickets, scrape the platform, misrepresent an event, launder funds, or interfere with the service. Ticket QR codes are single-use and personal; duplicating them to gain multiple entries is fraud.

8. Liability

tl;drWe are liable for our service, not for the event itself.

To the extent permitted by Cambodian law, our liability to you is limited to the total fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for the conduct of organizers or attendees, for what happens at an event, or for losses arising from an event being cancelled, changed or unsatisfactory.

9. Changes to these terms

tl;drWe tell you 30 days before anything material changes.

We may update these terms. For material changes we give at least 30 days’ notice by email and in-product. Continuing to use KHEvents after the notice period means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

tl;drCambodian law, Phnom Penh courts.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Phnom Penh.
